About the blocking, I bought a pretty sweater from the store a couple of winters ago and mistakenly put it into the dryer. Well, now it fits Barbie! My mom was an excellent knitter and I remember the smell of wet wool as her pieces lay drying to correct shape and size.
However, she did one send me a HUGE sweater to Israel when I lived that that the whole kibbutz probably could have fit in together. LOL
Today I spent enjoyable time embroidering stitches on some of the loveliest gold and turquoise gauze fabrics....thanks. xoxoLynn Cohenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12094038275377357886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3706571093501032722.post-57869026773039995432011-02-06T13:39:51.893-05:002011-02-06T13:39:51.893-05:00What's blocking? Then wool makes me itch so perhaps it's just as well.Bainohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156193098088048637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3706571093501032722.post-77472149344714306532011-02-06T10:17:42.269-05:002011-02-06T10:17:42.269-05:00I do NOT have the knitting/sewing gene. I couldn't even make a blasted apron!

But I got an "A" in cooking, thank goodness.
