It doesn't look like a photo to me as much as it looks like a Polaroid transfer - which is a different thing alltogether - and I really like the effect. Plus, Polaroid transfers are notoriously difficult to control, and using this technique to get that effect would give you back some command. Perhaps it wasn't what you were after for this particular challenge (even though IMO it's just lovely) but imagine the possibilities for other projects!jujhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05297173587055224228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3706571093501032722.post-57990199183255336712007-07-19T13:01:00.000-04:002007-07-19T13:01:00.000-04:00I like the second one.I like the second one.Jeannettohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03010819863287865243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3706571093501032722.post-81530101747980566902007-07-19T03:08:00.000-04:002007-07-19T03:08:00.000-04:00Kirsten - I agree! But I guess that's part of the whole experience. Now I'm sure that if I TRIED to do this, it wouldn't work!Mimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12409455543895086283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3706571093501032722.post-50293693612143053942007-07-19T02:38:00.000-04:002007-07-19T02:38:00.000-04:00Hey - it's really weird seeing portraits of me on ...Hey - it's really weird seeing portraits of me on your blog - because they are so like. Funny. I really enjoyed this swap too - yes it's a lot of work but I feel like I learnt a lot from it even if the results of my drawings weren't what I hoped for. IRT friend - thank you, me too.biteyourowntailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15723390742551493277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3706571093501032722.post-49336144353156011582007-07-19T02:22:00.000-04:002007-07-19T02:22:00.000-04:00wow. that one really does look like a photograph.wow. that one really does look like a photograph.Kerstin Kleinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07521233681681631621noreply@blogger.com
