    very true....we had a damaging lightening strike some years back....so although I LOVE thunderstorms, I am wary as I never used to be.

    I haven't been to your blog in a while...I hope all is well with your folks.

    Yep yep. In fact, there a days when hiding seems to make it worse.

    Nice illustration. Where I am now living, there are lots of lightening storms. Mom's house was hit about 8 months ago, knocking out some of the appliances. MY SIL is terrified by the storms.

    I love thunder and lightening but usually only when safe in a grounded house. But you never know when that lightening might find an open window.

    i've been in CA for 15 years now and have been through only one thunderstorm. It lasted 13 hours though and started many fires in the valley. I do miss a nice summer storm back in New England though. Great illo Mim!
