Gangsta

Has anyone ever tried "Gizoogle"?

I had 7 teenage kids with me yesterday, and one of them told me to try Gizoogle.  When it came up I typed in "Auntiemim" in the search bar...and it found my blog and turned the writing into "Gangsta" writing.  Very very crude language, obviously, but hysterically funny to teenagers.

What was I supposed to do?  It's like bad rap language, offensive to women, crude.

I let it all go and laughed as hysterically as the kids to see my blog in "gangsta".

But I still worry.....

So I had not tried Gizoogle before. And of course I had to try it on your blog, on this very post. There was much giggling. And maybe a bit of concern for the future of our society, but then one of my freelance contracts deals with current events so I'm already fairly concerned for "kids these days" and the general state of things.

Oh boy Gizoogle... Guess I'll take a giggle where I can!

Oh my goodness! I just did the same with my blog - some was hilarious and some was a little scary! That is way too funny - who comes up with this stuff?!

I think I am afraid to even go there. Never heard of it, and yes, what DOES IT MEAN for the sanity of our younger generations that they have to find humor in something that degrades women, as you mention, and glorify gangsters life style? Seriously? It sounds a bit like making fun of another ethnic group and look where that got us. Just sayin'. (Or am I just getting really, really OLD?)

Leave it to the kids to know these things. Like Lynn, I am afraid to even go there.

i haven't gone there either, but i'm intrigued.

i was thinking today, talking to my 30 year old niece, that i don't give a damn that i don't understand rap and don't want to. there are grammy winners and stars i will never know.

i prefer water lily girls.

love

what on earth is that? I have never heard of it before. Has the world gone totally mad, or does it just seem that way?
