Minneapolis - May 8th

I have spent the past few days in Minneapolis on a visit to a Public Heath meeting - and my impressions of this city have undergone a rapid change. I have never been here and expected - cold and dreary and bland. Instead I have found beautiful weather, eating dinner outside at a sidewalk cafe, no overwhelming traffic, nice people (really nice), a great used book store and easy to reach (walking) shopping. Wish I had my camera, but I never thought I would need it or want to take pictures. It's been a nice surpise and I now wish that I had the chance to see more of the city.
