Playing with Color

I have sketchbook Pro on my ipad and find it very useful for color experimentation, as well as shape, and composition sketches.

Here are two I've been playing with -

I didn't like the roof color on number 2 so I switched it without any hassle.

When I get proficient at using this tool - look out color wheel!!

(I hope you are all having a good weekend.  I was shopping with friends yesterday but after that awful shooting in Conn, some of the joy went out of the day.  My heart goes out to those families.   I can't even imagine their pain. )

Yes the colours do POP. Specially the pink. Love these. Yes my weekend has been filled with a full heart and a sad brain!

This looks like fun.
I have several sketch apps but not that one. I'll have to look for it.
I like your results!

The Conn. tragedy has really depressed me the past two days.

No words to convey that pain and sorrow.

I guess I'll have to get a I something so I am not left behind with all this technology.

Yes, I feel so sad too, for the dear children and those who tried to protect them and died for that. The principal and guidance counselor. I am glad the president is spending the day there. Marking the nation's caring.

These remind me of the colourful houses along the shore in Capitola - or Venezia's Lido!

They added a little *sparkle* here too... particularly after the Connecticut tragedy and having to put one of my feral cats to sleep yesterday..

Big Hugs,

These are so fun Mim.
The world is full of sadness over what happened, there are no words.

I find these kind of programs useful sometimes. You can even upload your work when in doubt of the next step and sketch it in more than one way...... Then you see what effect your step has without ruining your original.
Got your card yesterday. Wow, so beautiful!!!! Happy with it :)

What happen last week is sad beyond words....:(

Hope you are enjoying the Holidays dear

I like the first one because of its orderliness and mystery, two qualities that don't always coincide.
