I posted this for IFN, but like the drawing.

EDM - 132 - Spray Bottle

I was so happy with my condensed art pack and while on the plane to the UK, I drew the mini spray bottle. It was empty when I got on the plane but a nice attendant brought me a glass of water and I filled it from there. It's a handy little thing.

EDM challenges

I was looking thru the EDM challenges, as I don't really do them in any order (and have only done two so far anyway). One of the recent ones was to draw something on your desk (at least I thought it was) but I couldn't find this topic on the list; but I did find #37 - keys; # 56 - self, #117 - round and #83 - body of water. (this last one is cheating, this is an old piece for IF- polar).

No. 83 - body of water - one of my very first watercolors. Rather flat in retrospect, but I was happy with it at the time.

No 117 - Round. quick sketches of spheres. Could use more definition on the shadows as usual.

And finally - no 37 - keys. I started this for an IF (missing) and added the color last night. Big mistake as I started falling asleep while painting and drew inside the lines, but oh well, live and learn.

Everyday Matters

I just joined this group and am sort of starting in the middle. This is going to be a real challenge for me, as I am just, just learing to see and draw and it's tough.

The first one that I am tackling is rocks... and here is a pen and ink, watercolor interpretation. I am doing more rocks, having spent last weekend taking photo's of rocks to draw. I love rocks as you might be able to tell. This drawing is more interpretative isn't it? No real dimension to the rocks - well, time to try again with new rocks.
