We are staying in villa in the hills above lucca. no internet (internet cafe right now) no phone service, no TV. Al fresco dining at all times. Gorgeous pool. Outdoor shower in a grotto with rosemary bushes overhead. Family around.
Wonderful vacation and I bought already two bags of soft leather.

What beautiful colours, I love the soft stone of Italy and how it changes with the time of day. As for Rome - well, Jim proposed to me there. He was supposed to do it at the Trevi Fountain but couldn't wait, got a bit tipsy in the rooftop bar at the hotel and asked me there!! lol. We'd known each other less than a month!
