Tuscant

We are staying in villa in the hills above lucca. no internet (internet cafe right now) no phone service, no TV. Al fresco dining at all times. Gorgeous pool. Outdoor shower in a grotto with rosemary bushes overhead. Family around.
Wonderful vacation and I bought already two bags of soft leather.

My neighbor went last year and came back with leather and glass items. She loved it. Have a glorious time.

I was so excited to see your small post, your words really convey how far away you are...Italy is one European country I've never been, but heard so much about and seen so many photos I feel like I have. I know I would love it. Enjoy every minute. Your box is winging it's way to your home, it left here Monday morning.
Ciao!

How wonderful for you to be so totally ON VACATION. I like no phones, no TV and no internet. It's nice to get unplugged. Enjoy!

What beautiful colours, I love the soft stone of Italy and how it changes with the time of day. As for Rome - well, Jim proposed to me there. He was supposed to do it at the Trevi Fountain but couldn't wait, got a bit tipsy in the rooftop bar at the hotel and asked me there!! lol. We'd known each other less than a month!
