Hmmm.....it's a thought!

I'm putting all these ideas in a journal so as to keep imagining new opportunities.

I'm not sure how I would do at this, seeing as I have two dogs that need baths, and have needed baths for WEEKS. ;) I might be better at designing clothes for dogs - :)) xox

love the idea of making a journal of new career opportunities. Esp a visual journal as my tendency is to make word journals. Can i have a pair of those shoes?

Good idea and then you can sell it as an Art book. :)

Been there, done that! This is a good idea if you like spending time with doggies. It's a possibility!

Great idea. Maybe you could sell your book of Ms Em at the doggie day care and vets places for the waiting room.

What a fun idea! Love the journal for keeping your creative dreaming up to date. Wonderful Ms Em drawings!!! Love her yellow shoes.
Can't wait to see what ideas for future careers you come up with!
Good luck...I am a firm believer in visualizing what I want in life and then creating it.

I am a scaredy cat woos who is frightened of dogs. So to me Miss Em is not only brrrilliant but brave! And she has excellent taste in shoes. Yellow is the perfect colour (I know I know but we Brits will insist that colour contains a u)

I think there probably are some good niches to be found in and around the pet market. Yes, good idea that. Journalling is good too, anything that frees the mind to have a wander outside the normal constraints of worry and stress.

Have you thought about personality profiling Mim? There are quite a few free versions of the Myers Briggs questionairre which is still well respected and in use across a range of industries. Might be worth looking at to open up some other new job/career ideas for you.

Big hug, xx Jos

i am not worried for you, mim. not one bit. i personally hope you and ms. em become your own collaborative career. she's ready and so are you.

btw, i can get you to an on line myers=briggs if you want. and i can tell you what it means :^)

I used to be a pet bather/groomer and have worked in 2 different vet clinics as well as a pet shop. People who love their pets will pay top dollar for many things. This is an awesome idea. You don't even have to be able to groom, some people just want someone else to bathe their pet and clean up the mess. I have a few co-workers who pay to take their pets to "doggy day care". They don't want to leave the dog at home alone. If you have a fenced yard and understanding neighbors maybe that's an option too!

These whimsical images are fabulous! I love the idea of being a professional dog-walker - what a great way to get (and stay) in shape!

That bowl in your previous post is gorgeous! As are your Sculpy works a few posts before that.

It is a great idea!
Wouldn't it be a dream come true to work like that!
Visualizing your ideas in the journal is a perfect start and I like Teri's idea of your book being available in waiting rooms!
Follow your dream dear♥

I love Miss Em...and her yellow shoes! I know a dog walker and she is in the best shape of anyone I know. She also says she feels much more peaceful than at any time in her life, and also feels much more connected to Nature. I think this would be a brilliant idea!

Keep drawing Miss Em and her ideas for employment...you'll have a book before long...and then, there is your employment, haha! xx
