I've been obsessed!!

I have been absent lately  - well, I've posted but mentally I haven't been here.  Aside from having that damn stomach bug, which set me back a few days - I've been obsessed with completing the Water Lily Girls paintings.

Now I think I'm finished with the basic paintings.  I have to add detail and contour and shadow.  But also now I have to write a story to go with the pictures, so in the long run the pictures might change, which is why I've waited to add those final details.

But here is the link to Flickr where I think/hope you can view them all in sequence.

Now the tough part - adding words.  Oy.

I've no doubt the author in you will match the artist with just the right words!

PS The paintings are all quite wonderful! I know the story is there already just waiting for your pen to pour it forth! Enjoy the process!

Mim - this is so fantastic! I loved every frame...Lynn is right...the story (and the words) evolved automatically in my mind as I looked at each sketch. You have the *cast*..now, the narrative.....you write so well....I think it will come quite easy to you. Long Live the *WLG*s* and their magical world!

(I was especially touched to see the *rescue* of the little Bait-Worm!) I Loved the night scene...I confess that my mind leaped (excuse the pun) ahead and I wondered how you would end this first story...
Brilliant! BRAVA!!!!!

Love,

They are absolutely charming. I can't wait to see the finished product and a new book- which I will buy as soon as I see it.

Oh these are so wonderful. I hope you are protecting your work. I have found that what I put on Flickr has ended up out there shared with the public for anyone to see and copy. I was rather surprised. Look forward to the story.

Oh what I meant was I clicked on something someone was talking about on their blog.. some Fairy Roses and there were masses of photos of them and my photos were in there too.
