Has anyone gone to this ArtFest thing is Washington state? It takes place in April and seems to be a real mecca for some. I am thinking about going, but any recomendations would be appreciated. Thanks all,

my first time was just two years ago...i went as a student, without any idea of what to expect...and now i will be teaching again this upcoming artfest...it's an amzing event, life changing...magical. i do hope you decide to go.
I've heard of this - I think anything which encourages free unbridled creative lay for three days has to be a good thing.
There's a wonderful Winnicott (British child psychiatrist) quote about creative play and how it's the only time we get to experience the whole of the self - meaning both the bits we like but also other, buried parts - the insecurities and the frustrations, even agner when it doesn't go well - and that that is why it's so vital for everyone.
