official artist

I have appointed myself the official artist for our "Foundations Club" (because we all wear them) girlfriends weekend get away. Last years was on the beach, this year in the Hot Tub (not room for 4 in the picture, so Miss Em got to stay out)

I'm trying to decide if the fence should be dark brown so as to make the heads pop a bit more - any thoughts?

I like the way you take minutes. Ha.. Definitely a darker background sos we can see the girls better.

Or you can give the girls colorful hair. I mean it's a "wild" girls weekend, right? lol :)Bea, with spraypainted purple hair

Looks like those gals are having a blast. Darker fence would probably be good...redwood?

Loved your Animal Wednesday guy.....nice!

def not brown. The pics too lively for brown! maybe a nice blue? Or pink? This Ms. Em ;)

I'm glad you had a great getaway!

thanks all, lolo - you know miss em! I was thinking Pink, but thought it might just have too much color then. But...I'm gonna try it!

What are foundations that you wear?
bras? girdles? Do people still wear girdles? I hope not. funny. Is it a back east term like that word you use for purses? I can't think of it now.

Some color yes on the gals or the fence as they blend into it too much now. They will pop if theres more color. doesn't have to be dark dark. Just my feel, as I have no educated color sense at all. I just go with my gut.

Love the drawing and that you have this gathering to look forward to. How long is it? One day? A weekend?
Lucky you!

Either hair or fence in color. re:Lynn, foundations! Back East. I dont think so, I havent heard that term since reading Victorian novels. :) Cute.

You do the CUTEST sketches!! This is adorable. I agree with Suki; you could make their hair colors, or maybe make the fence light gray. Either way, I love this.
