I've been going thru some older things, trying to see what I've done, what's been posted, what hasen't. Found this Black and white odd fish thing that I've always liked.
And recently Cris ( I think it was Cris) posted about a red billed duck and I remembered this drawing. I still don't know what type of duck it it...but I like his red beak.
Happy Animal Wednesday everyone! I'm getting back in the saddle after being away for a few days - the weather here has been gorgeous, great for evening bike riding which we did last night. Saw frogs galore - hopping from pond to pond. Stopped and watched a beaver...and he stopped and watched me with interest. Did I have my camera??? no, of course not!!! But him I'll draw from memory this week.

It was I that mentioned the red billed duck which was so unusual. We found out that it was a Roseate Pochard yearling. Probably an escaped pet since they are from Brazil or some such place. I like your drawing of the fishes and duck. I never seem to have a camera when I see something really neat. Or more likely I am so excited at seeing wildlife that I forget to take a photo until the moment is lost. HAW.
No it wasnt me but thanks for the mention anyway. :)) Love the fish drawing and the duck. We have some odd ones here at our duck pond too. Look forward to the Beaver. I am always seeing something cool when I dont have my camera to capture it too. I feel like getting a small point and shoot camera I can carry all the time just for that purpose... But then like Lisa said one has to get it out and use it. :o
Mim, love the "Picasso-esque" sea creatures! They really are charming. The Red-billed Duck is beautiful...
Ah, too bad, you didn't have a camera when you came "eyeball-to-eyeball with that Beaver! It always seems to be the way - doesn't it?
Love,
♥ Robin ♥

Hey Mim, love that fishy drawing and the beautiful duck - so loose and love the muted colors! I hope to be back for AW next week, I've got some ideas brewing....
I always love your fish creations. The little ant (?) riding a bike underwater is what catches my eye! I love the little feet on the wheels!
