Animal Wednesday - a sad day...

Jude had a terrible experience when she lost her beloved dog. This post is for Jude - I've sent a donation to ASPCA for your Jose.
People who put down poison should be......

Yup - that's what I'm thinking.

In this time of recession - the animals are hurting and rescue places are running out of money - low donations. Please consider donating here - Bernie runs a wonderful rescue.

Go hug a pet...

I read about Judes loss. It was so heart wretching to read. It just sickens me what some sicko people do. My hear too goes out to Jude and others who have lost a pet to such a senseless loss.

Mim, thank you so much for raising this issue outside of my blog. The more people who are aware of it the better. As I said though, it is illegal here and still, still thoughtless, idiots do it. As the days go by we are heartened by all the comments people send, on my blog, by email, Face Book and phone. He was loved and known by many many people. I still feel sick. I'm trying to find different walks to take the other on as I expect to see Jose around every corner. Thank you
x

I read Jude's post in sheer horror. I almost couldn't finish it but I knew I had to. It's good to be aware of what bad things sick people do.
Hurray for people like Bernie and shelter workers in general. It's hard work being a voice for the animals but I'm so glad it's being done by so many. Yay Bernie!
Prayers to Jude and her family and blessings to Jose.

Marianne's right...between you and I it's not our usual HAW :)
