ArtySoulSisters

The first one is SB's book - which theoretically had no theme, but she did a moon..and Marianne did a page (an awesome page, let me tell you) with a flying theme so I carried that along.

And then Marianne's book where Sjimmie is traveling around the world. And here he is in Massachusetts, fishing for some strange fish!

This is FUN!! I don't even know if I got the pages the right size, Marianne says 6" by 6" but I did 6" by 12". I can't wait to get more books to work on, it's a fun challenge.

you are a VERY GOOD artist, mim. i love the floating quality of soulbrush's page--the way i imagine heaven, actually.

i am so glad you are back. since you have time to blog, i'm guessing things are not chaotic this weekend? xoxoxo

ps the word verf is 'mismic'. but i don't know anyone named mic. blogger got confused: it should be 'mismim' which is how i felt while you were away....

:)

This is good Mim. I can't wait to see these in person. I have Carolines book. I am a little intimidated. I hope to work on my page for it this weekend.

Marvelous da'ling. Simply marvelous.
I love the etheric quality of the flying people...strangely wonderful.
Mariannes page is equally terrific.
As for feelings of intimidation (Lisa) I say hog wash. We all have our own styles and there is plenty of appreciation for our differences!
i can't wait to get my hands on these.

Oh Mim!!!!!!
They are terrific!
I love them both!
I am so glad Sjimmie is enjoying himself.
Friday (before he left for MA) Sjimmie ate the tails of the (raw) herring we had...... He loves fish, but you probably know that by now (when he caught something at least.......)
Both pages are exquisite when enlarged, all those beautiful details!
I am still waiting for Soul's finished book. Can't wait to get started again.
And I agree with Lynn!
I was also little intimidated when I saw all those beautiful collage pages, because I know I can't do them, but indeed we all have our own talents so I just use what I have.
And the book becomes so nice just because of all those different styles and surprises .

And indeed Mim The pages are 6 x 12, but once folded they close as 6 x 6, that's my mistake. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks Mim, for taking such good care of Sjimmie. I have never taken him fishing, what an experience and all those strange fishes he must have seen......

Have a nice weekend!

You girls are so so clever. When I retire (if ever) I am really going to have a bash at illustration and painting. I tried once but my painting nook in the shed was overtaken by motorbikes and tractors. One day . . .
