on the funny side

I worked from the hotel room yesterday and went to visit MIL at night. She's doing great, pretty out of it, but did ask where we went for dinner and what I had. She also asked me to scratch her head, so I did.

Then we came back to this hotel, and I crashed to sleep.

All night long DH kept singing in his sleep - "That's the way (uh huh, uh huh) I Like it (uh huh, uh huh).

What the heck???

Has she had her surgery? If so I'm very pleased that she's awake and asking questions must be a huge relief for you . . . as for singing KC and the Sunshine Band songs in your sleep . . the man needs therapy!

Dear Mim I am thinking of you. The hospitals and all of it; all hard and yet...

I wish I could go one more time to see Sheldon and yet...

I laughed at your SIL because I totally agree, I want them to basically close off a main street and have chinese wailers.

I love that you shared, after all you have two.

Love Renee xoxo

I'm so happy your MIL in doing well. I'm still keeping her in my thoughts and prayers. I think DH needs to do some explaining over a very nice dinner, tonight. lolololsnort :)Bea

so wonderful you are there to support your DH and his mom. That's part of the healing power I think, to know your loved ones are there for you. My Dad was in hospital for a number of weeks i seem to recall after his aneurism operation. He too was older, maybe about 80 I think.

Each day she'll get a little bit better, a lot better, is my prayer.
You are such a good DIL to her. And a support to DH. He's too funny, singing in his sleep. Maybe he was dreaming that you were scratching his head too. LOL
Thinking good thoughts and sending positive energy for continued strength for you all to get through this.

I'm guessing you both are experiencing de-stressing after everything has gone so well. That's a funny song to be singing in your sleep though...I'd be asking what kind of dream were you having?

Happy to hear MIL is doing so well. pk

Good you can work from the hotel and be there for your DH & MIL. Funny about DH singing. Singing is a stress releaser he must be really releasing stress while sleeping, or else he is sarenading you in his sleep. LOL

I hope all is well with your MIL and I'm laughing out loud about your hubbie singing in his sleep. Was he doing a little disco dance move as well?
