update

MIL still in small local hospital waiting to be tranferred to "real big city" hospital where they can do her surgery. We are tired and worried but are trying to enjoy family as much as possible. Nerves are frayed...but thanksgiving dinner was good and fun and somewhat relaxing. I'm heading home this weekend, DH has to stay to see what happens. Then we start to take turns coming down.

It should be an interesting December!

This sounds hard. So sorry you all have to go through this. One of lifes challenges! Sorry for MIL too.

Mim, your book, Ms Em's Adventures, arrived in yesterdays mail and it is a sheer delight! I absolutely LOVE IT.
Ms Em will lighten anyones day.
You did a terrific job on putting the book together. Wonderful lay out. Great stories. Stupendous paintings!Thank you so much for autographing it for me as well.
I hope you sell oodles of them. I'm sure happy to have mine!

Sending positive energy for getting through this family crisis.

It's very stressful for all of you.
Really important to take some quiet time for yourself. I'll be keeping your entire family in my prayers and meditations. :)Bea

I'm feeling for you. I hope you are able to find some peace amongst the turmoil and hubbub of hospital visits and family. Being back home will be refreshing I'm sure, but still mind stressful as your DH stays.

sending prayers that all goes well both for you and for MIL. Good you are coming home for a break. So hard esp when loved ones live far away.
