What a week....

I am home since late Wednesday night. I am WAAYYY behind in everything - laundry, unpacking, artwork, postcards, ATC's, sketchbooks, friends, phone calls, bank stuff, thank you's, hellos, work, HAW, posting, comments, new ideas, etc, etc, etc. Everyone at work is cranky. Everyone at home is cranky.

What to do.

Just try to catch up I guess! I should start with laundry...but think I'll start with art work instead. And tonight I have that figure-drawing/painting class. oh my....

i hate this feeling, when everything gets on top of me,i feel so out of control... i just stop myself and calmly say 'one thing at a time', so deep breaths mims and it will all get done. and i agree, art first tee hee.

Yes, that housework and dirty laundry will wait for you. Bake your husband some cookies and do some art, then everyone will be happier.

I think sometimes its best just to start with what you can-then the rest falls into place. Well, sometimes. Maybe. I don't really know.

But I do know I feel the same way-I look at all that has been left undone for the past few weeks and just want to fall back into bed.

Still the world didn't stop turning while it was undone-so maybe it can get done as I can do it.

Maybe.

well one step at a time is the key. breathe and dont worry about catching up really. that overwhelm feeling is part of going away i think but you are far more experience with traveling than I.

ah yes.. the starting.
I set the timer for 15 minutes.
they say you can do anything for 15 minutes.

I'm in agreement, hate it when I'm in this situation. Just start plugging away, steadily, without panic and take some time to sit and do the artwork through the process. Okay, so this is coming from one that constantly has a house that is in need of cleaning and almost constantly has clothes to be washed...

I love that you are chosing art over laundry. This will undoubtedly help you get grounded again. Enjoy it. Hugs.

It's awful when everything just seems to pile up and get out of control. I'd do what you have chosen, get on with some lovely art with a nice cup of tea and a cookie maybe. I hope you manage to get sorted. I have put your 'E' for Envy ATC on my blog today. xxx

I hate that part of being away from home. I always feel so stressed when I get back.
