Before I left on my last business trip I printed a picture of a barn onto hot pressed WC paper and on the way home worked on it a bit with colored pencils. Just trying some fooling around with colors.
I'm going to do it again with my own barn photo, or maybe a woodcut type picture of a barn. Fun to experiment

I am intrigued by the fact that you could print on WC paper. I have never tried to do that before. I like the colors you have chosen here. I bet you could do WC pencils with this techinique.
So fun to experiment like this. I have heard of printing a sketch but have not tried it either.
barns are a wonderful subject. my brother has a big red barn on his property and it's a fine building for sure.
I like how this turned out...would like to see it using the water color pencils wet too. Might be interesting. Thanks for sharing. And this paper fit well in the printer? Interesting.
What a cool idea. You probably have started a new thing with this printing on WC paper. A nice way to keep your hand in something artsy when unable to do much more.
What a great thing to do to wile away the hours in flight... they all look wonderful, but right now I favour the on with the orange colours....probably because it's so bloody cold and grey here.

I love this!!!
I print on brown paper bag sometimes and then turn that into my own thing using colored pencils. Such fun!
Finally, a word veri just for me! "winec" ;P
What a great way to while away time while travelling. And I really love the whole thing...the colours are so striking!
I wonder how the yellow sky of number two would go with the orange earth of number three. May I ever so humbly suggest moving the wagon wheel back. Where it is, it looks almost as if it's attached to the barn.
