We went kayaking on Sunday and I took along my new camera with it's 10x zoom. My goal - looking for wildlife to post for Animal Wednesday.
We floated along
past the last blooming Water Lily
thru millions of tiny beads of pollen on the water - a beautiful green cover on the lake....
...which wrinkles when you move against it - isn't that cool?
And finally we found our wildlife.....
MOO!!

That is wonderful 'wild'life!!
The green lake is fantastic, only nature can create such things.
I did take some pictures for AW, but don't want to post them... I'm afraid I scare away my visitors, because I only got some photos from fat spiders. This autumn we have sooo many spiders.
HAW!
It looks like you had a good time. The green goo on the lake doesn't look very inviting to me. Those sweet cow faces are so curious as to where you came from. HAW.
When we get green on our lake, everyone groans and moans, calls it pollution, but yours is pretty.
Love that cow's face.
HAW

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THOSE COWS!! What a great angle. How do you go out on the water with a new camera and not ruin it? I would probably drop it in the water. lol
i love the wrinkly pollen beads and water lily - lovely fotos mim!
Ha! Moo to you, too! That green slime on the lake is rather pretty. You know it is a healthy and living water when you have that kind of green on top. Looks like a relaxing and dreamy day.
I wasn't expecting cows! I like the pollen-coated water.
I recently told my therapist that my 'happy place' is imagining just what you are doing...floating in kayak (or Tahiti for me) on a lazy river or lake...lovely photos
