Double Duty

The Dog Bed did not sell at YarT. Lots of people looked at it but very few people have dogs small enough to fit on it. Plus everyone said that their dogs slept with them, and didn't need their own bed. And I overheard someone say "it would make a cute doll bed" so......

....I re-purposed it last night with a quick sheet and bed cover, and little pillow.

There is even a little blanket under the bedspread - pink to match the sheet. It appears that I didn't take a picture of that but oh well....

Do little girls still play with dolls and like to tuck them into bed? I guess I'll find out!!

I think I'll take credit for the doll bed comment :)
We were talking to the lady with the yorkie at the time, I think.
Anyhoodle, if you list this on Etsy you should take a pic of a doll all cozy and snoozy under the blanket!

I love this bed. I wish Emma would use it. And it's not big enough for my cat...you have seen her yourself!

Yes, little girls love doll beds. My six yr old grand daughter has the one I gave her next to her own bed and tucks her baby doll in it.

I agree advertise it as doll, cat, dog bed and see what happens. It will sell. You bight think of a canopy for the top too. Sheer white or dyed pink fabric?

I think that's a great idea - dolls and their furniture never go out of style.
