Autumn

I love the word Autumn, and all the colors associated with Autumn. Golds, and burnt orange, yellow and deep red.

Truly my favorite season. I love the cool mornings and breezy nights, with the perfect sleeping weather. I love my fall quilt and snuggle so comfortably at night.

This is the view from my kitchen window, I like seeing the still blooming hibiscus against the dropped leaves and maple tree.

I know winter is coming and am actually looking forward to some possible down time, with time to read in front of the fire and work on art in my basement studio. Listening to a book and knitting in front of the fire is luxury living as far as I'm concerned. I don't like nasty weather, but I love and always look forward to a snowy day where I can stay home, nest and watch the snow fall.

Do you love autumn?

I do.

I love autumn, esp as it contains my birthday month. i also love spring and summer. what i do not love is winter. i wouldnt mind the cold so much if it werent for ice and snow up to the gazzoo at least up here in the north country.

I'd love Autumn more if it were followed by Spring. :))

Sigh....I, too am an Autumn Girl.... even here, in CA, where we don't have too many of the *obvious* Autumnal signs...on can still feel the tang in the air... and the sight of leaves (even greeny-goldy-brown ones) scattering on the ground is wonderful!

I love this photo...cos now I can really picture where it was taken!

HAPPY AUTUMN Mim!

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

I love Autumn so much, too. Granted, the leaves don't change down here too much, but sometimes we get some beauties along the shore.
It's the best sleeping weather.

Such a lovel view from your kitchen!

You bet I love autumn. I too like to curl up with a good book or some hand work. I like coming home from work and putting on my pjs just because it is dark. Yep, Looking forward to it.

Beautiful view from your window!
Our extensive drought means no fall color to speak of.

I share Cris's thoughts on Autumn!

I do..i love the change to cooler weather...wearing warmer clothes, my cords, long socks, short boots, sweater, light jacket, seeing the leaves change color, fall holidays, crisp air...rain...hot cider, nesting too!!!

You know I love it! This is the time of year that I can finally get outside and enjoy the weather. I am sucking up every ounce of it as old man winter is just around the corner.
"Listening to a good book" sounds funny to me. I still buy the good old fashioned paper kind.

I love autumn but once the leaves all drop I'm ready for winter. If it's going to be cold it might as well be snowy too so you can do more to enjoy it! Then I'm always ready fro spring and summer! I guess I love all the seasons for what they offer - looking forward to going out on snowmachines right now!

for the longest time, fall has been my favorite season. i love to fall asleep under a warm quilt as well - and always keep the window open a crack, even in the dead of winter. gotta have fresh air ;-)
