On top of being busy, I just found out that my drivers license has expired so have to go to the dreaded Motor Vehicle Bureau. I hope to emerge sometime this month, but one never knows.
My watercolor teacher has a critique for the first part of every class. Oy. Anyway, here is what I did.
We'll see how she likes them. The bottom two are postcard sized, and the top one is 9x12. Learning about transparent watercolors, kinda fun. The water in the 2nd one is odd, and not finished - my goal was to work on the reflection part.
Have a lovely week!

Mim, gee whiz, these boats are fabulous. I especially like how well you've done the shadows and depth
I wish I was in that class .
Hell, i wish you lived next door

I like the water just fine. and the abstract is lovely. like bandaides or tickets.
I like them all. What is she teaching? My experience with painting classes has been a mix of learning a slew of techniques which I liked, or watch me paint and try to copy what I do, which I did not like. That's why I just decided to do my own thing.
Of course, I adore the rowboats....they are all stunning..
I would buy them as card in a *NY Minute*! But, I like the *Watercolour Swatches* too.. I am in awe of your talent - in so many genres!!!!
Love to you, O busy bee,
