New baby quilt for work

I whipped up this quilted blanket for my friend at work, simple printed material with hand and machine quilting and a nice binding. I think that this will work well for the family, but am going to double check with another friend at work. Can't believe that I have been obsessing about this! Time for bed!

This is darling. I think the other one was much more fun but they both are wonderful. Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you get Spring & warmer weather there soon.

It almost looks like Mimzy doodlish animals on it...woof and purr and squeak.

I do like the other one too.

I have yet to finish one quilt. Even the tiny 'wall hanging' quilt I made for my mother's birthday...in 2006. yes.

I admire your go go go and do-ness.

i just love this one, though i´m usually not a fan of babyish stuff. ;) my kids had a lot of bright colored stuff. but seeing all the quilts in your blog and in others too i have noticed that for patterned quilts i really do prefer when the tones are similar and not too different from each other. the quilt you made now is wonderful, and i would even buy it. :)

I think you know my daughter, she is forever whipping up baby quilts for girls at work. We both quilted and then art took over my life and she is always making a quilt.

This one is so pretty and the lucky person that receives will surely cherish it.

OK darn it, I so wish I lived near Deb so I'd have someone to take a quilting class with. I must find one in Dallas.

Hey Mim, I got your message about my daughter and if she had a blog. Unfortunately she doesn't but I have been trying to convince her. If she ever does, I will let you know.

When I first started my blog in 2005, I posted my last quilt and it is still my favorite one. If you want to see it click on this link. http://painteddaisies.blogspot.com/2005/08/moondance-quilt.html
I smiled when I went back to find it because it so resembles my own art.

Oh God!
I can feel its softness, lightness and warmth.
The pattern is very cute.
