The snake and the apple

Still somewhat cheery I think, but the snake and the apple is more of a garden theme this week than flowers.
Still having trouble with my printer and scanner. The real image is somewhere in between the first scan and the second "enhance the colors" scan. What do you think? Which do you like better?

I would take the first image, lighten it up a bit more, offset is slightly and superimpose it behind the second image....like a visual echo. I love how the snake is cheery and not threatening, just hanging out with the apple. Snakes get a bad rep. I mean think about it-the apple in the story contained the evil knowledge but no one hisses and boos at APPLES.

Yes, a few people did the snake theme, FY did a funny one, Ellis Nadler did a great woodcut and you did that great apple pie one. The underside of the garden!

I like the second image - intense colors always do it for me. I love the colors on the snake's head.

Beautiful and symbolic.
The second one with richer colors matches the theme much more.

i actually find i like both, although if i live up to my 'vibrant' personality then i have to say the second one, mmmmm am thinking this would make a great tattoo.

Like everyone else I think it is difficult to choose between the two. I would probably say the second one if pushed :-D
