I can't resist rainy or cloudy day pictures. Actually I can't resist sunny day pictures either.
Some of my lilies after a rain. This one was protected from the rain and was smugly dry.
But this one was covered with wonderful raindrops - captured beautifully by my little camera.
I found this black feather in the yard this morning and picked it up for HB, thinking it was a crow feather. DH thinks it is not from a crow, but a bigger bird.
These are all the big feathers that I have picked up in the yard and kept. Beautiful aren't they?
This mushroom was NOT in the yard yesterday. How do they grow so fast?

Thank you for such lovely pictures of summer; here, it is all icy rain.
Lovely pictures all but esp #1. I love the contrasts in colors. You have a turkey feather in the middle. The black feather looks very crow to me but I know nothing. Take care, we missed the rain today, hurrah.
what a beautiful blog you have! i just stumbled across it... so peaceful, and i love your art. looking forward to reading more : )

I love the way mushrooms are not there and then they are. No wonder people thought there were magical. Of course, being poisonous and hallucenogenic probably helps that along.
I can't comprehend cold icy rain in the summer time, makes me shiver - Eliz - come for a visit! Suki, we were in NH today and missed most of the rain except for a few sprinkles. Got some great pictures, I hope I can post.
Little bird - thanks for visiting, door is always open. and miss debra - you are too funny! Magic mushrooms - I could use a few!

the colour contrasts are brilliant, black feathers and white mushrooms, everything so different from this side of the pond.
Love these 'finds'. I think your black feather is a raven. We have them in our yard. Love the dewdrops on those beautiful flowers.
i was watching and reading... scrolling dwon... and wow...
i shouted, "this is mine!... this is mine!..."
and then read you put it here for the crow...
i'm much honored...
:)
i love feathers so much... black ones always seem so powerful...
the flower kicks any sadness and depression out of our soul...
