This was the cutest parade ever. Dogs of all sizes and shapes and people of all sizes, shapes and ages happily walking their decorated pooches down Main Street.
This is quite funny. Poor dogs! Especially the one having to carry a "car" on it's back. I found it interesting that the dogs didn't seem all that interested in each other much...no dogs attacking other dogs...all rather well behaved...or on drugs maybe?
What i really noticed was the cobble stoned street. Reminded me of riding a bike on one in Nantucket many years ago now... OUCH my poor tuchas still remembers how hard that was.
This video is too cute. What a good group of dogs. I don't know if Luna could contain herself in such a parade. I could probably dress her up. She likes to be fiddled with and will wear hats, scarves etc. HAW.
So cute! our town holds one of these in the summer, i guess i'll be in it now that i have my little owen! and Mim, i loved your drawings of the water lily girls. so sweet.
Of course, it's just the vet tech in me, but I always wonder "have they had their shots, are they on heartworm preventative, do they have a bug that sniffing noses could transmit...
I know, I can't drive pass a field of livestock without thinking similar thoughts... I'm glad cats don't have "cat parks" and that at cat shows I can have people disinfect their hands before petting my cats.

Oh, those Bernese Mtn. dogs!!! Be still my heart.
Wow, some folks go all out! And what's with the German Sheperd with NO daffodils?
Judging by the girth of some of those hounds, I'd say they eat well on the vineyard ;P
This is wonderful Mim - what fun! Love the creativity of these owners - amazing what dogs will put up with as long as their with their pack!
PS - Can you tell me how to make the video screen smaller from an embedded video? Or do you only have control over that if it's your own video?
What a neat parade...the collie caught my eye, so beautiful! Perhaps it is the long nose, being the great one here has such a concave snout!!! HAW!
Mim, this is too wonderful! All those dogs - large and small, furry and sleek - all bedecked with daffodills! Spring MUST truly have arrived.
And, I'm with Lo.....LUV the Bernese.....
How wonderful dogs are....they put up with so much - can you see a similiar parade with Cats? A-ha-ha!
Love,
♥ Robin ♥
