Postcards

I finally got sick of painting furniture and sat down to do a little drawing. A few postcards emerged.

It's a gorgeous weekend here - we're off to a friends for a cookout. Hope you're having a lovely day.

It looks like Ms Em needed to get out. Fun to see a fish. I hope you are having a great weekend in the sun.

How wonderfully fluid these are...I love them. I'm really glad you got sick of painting furniture!

nice to see these folks dancing and floating with the wind. We had only a bit of sun here, lots of wind though.

Mim Mim Mim, I love these!! I agree with Marion, they're so fluid!!

Coffee Table Guy made me laugh. Or is she ordering him outside? That one can be interpreted many ways ;)

Hey, were your ears burning today?
Brian and I went to Amherst to meet his family at the Eric Carle Museum. (Sadly, I had no time to squeeze in KJ :( )
When I was in the gift shop I saw a book for you and they let me write the title down.
"Drawing Words & Writing Pictures" by Jessica Abel and Matt Madden. The subtitle is something like "taking your ideas from concept to cartoon strip!!" Anyway, it screamed your name. Imagine the crowd gathering around a book calling, "Mim...MIM!!"

;)

Wonderful weather today but really gusty, windy on the open road.

As always, I love everything you draw/paint. You are so talented and have such a fun, creative imagination. I treasure my Hanukkah cards from last year so much ... still want to frame them so I can share them with everyone : )
