Day 7 after MIL died and yes...a week brings some healing.
Day 1 of the New Year and we did 15 miles off road on our trusty Florida bikes. Whew and yeah!
I have crossed fingers for 2011.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL,
THANKS FOR BEING THERE,
Love, Mim

I love the perspective Mim. What a difference a week can make.
It doesn't diminish the loss, but it may be a gentle nudge towards the future of what is still to come.
Oh, the possibilities!
Yay! for the bike ride.
yay! that you have each other.
yay! for new beginnings.
happy new year Mim,
xo

I'm glad you are on the path of healing from all you two have been through of late. I know this takes time...good start and nice physical activity to help the mind and body.
Interesting new blog background too. I can see you riding your bikes on the sides here out in the country...
May the new year bring even more healing as the days go on.
A happy new year to you, too, Mim. I envy your energy!
I agree w/Lolo. such a blessing you and DH have each other for love and support at this time. I would also note how fab that you both are sports folks as such a wonderful thing to be out in nature, healing. Blessings, suki
Happy New Year Mim! It sounds like you and DH are off to a good start!
Sending love,
