more snow

What you can't see on the picture is the heavy, wet snowfall that's got me at home this morning. I usually don't mind being stuck at home, but today I thought I'd go to work so I got dressed and everything. And I still might go in when/if it let's up. So now the question is....do I take off these "professional" (read - fairly uncomfortable) clothes, and put on my comfies. The problem is that then when I have to actually go to work, I'll want to go in my comfy sweats. Which I can't do as we are practically a Japanese company now and they see to dress pretty professionally at work. What a dilemma.

By now you're thinking - what the heck is she complaining about - why is she wasting her time with this insignificant drivel?

Well...the point is - I'm taking great pleasure in worrying about things like this instead of life and death decisions. I'm enjoying the insignificant. I'm enjoying focusing on the petty things.

"oh dear" she thought while shopping after work "should I buy the purple Sateen sheets or the polka dot cotton ones?"

Delightful!

May your day be filled with only insignificant worries.

The sun is shining delightfully here. It is playing a trick on us here too. It is barely above 0F this morning. I will take the sun though. My biggest worry today is how much outer wear should I put on to get to work without frostbite. Enjoy you fussiness.

business casual, dear mim, which japanese or not, to me means warm cords and a cozy sweater, of course then with dress up accessories )

are you going to work? have you gone? i decided to cancel my cancelations from tuesday. i'm home and my camera is itching to venture out to snap thousands of tree branches covered with pure white

about the decisions that face you:
OH DEAR GOD YAY YIPPEE!

Isn't it lovely to be back to normal worry!? Will you be able to make your Art class tonight? or is that tonight? Drive safely in all that wet white stuff.

Seeing all these east coast snow shots is making me cold. It's sunny here and my insignificant thougths of the morning are do I go up and exercise on the treadmill or do I go sit in my recliner and read more of my latest Jodi Picoult book? I have to pick up art today from the surgery center. Will I be able to drive down the sunfilled roads?
LOL So much for thoughts from this California Girl!
Happy weekend tomorrow in your comfy clothes!!!!!

I was supposed to take Bibs to the Deerfield Mass vets this morning and didnt go. But up here the sun came out around noon. We got maybe 5 inches. Still, glad I chose not to drive in it.

Yes, what sheets to buy, those arre the best kind of worries.

FLANNEL sheets right now, Mim, FLANNEL!! and polka dots for sure ;)

Sateen is so cold. Save them for our disgustingly hot, humid summers ;)

I have to get caught up on this japanese company stuff. Huh???

Your yard is a lovely winter wonderland.

More snow Tuesday btw. Just sayin!

ha ha ha I just had a sheet quandry myself today. I called my sister from Costco to see if 300 thread count is poor or good quality. She knows these things, I don't. I once bought sheets that were like burlap sacks and quite itchy.
