The kayak pic - I think finished.
From another angle
Asking the frog for a ride across that stone wall
Actually getting the fide across the stone - which you have seen before, but now the frog has spots.
With another WLG - waving goodbye to the frog ride.
Giving a stick to a beaver, but I think this one has to be redone, as the beaver is too small.
Hitching a ride back to the original pond, with a dragonfly.
A partially colored pic of a dragonfly ride - wheeeee
Bye bye dragonfly -
Day is over, jumping into the pond to go home for the night
Home is where the upside down boat is.
Hope you're enjoying this series.

the softness of your water colors, the coloring of the rocks. these little adventurers, their frog and dragon fly companions: mim: this is so charming. i can see why you would be up at midnight doing these. very exciting.

I have no doubt my grandkids and I would enjoy reading this book once it is done!
I finally see the legs and shoes in the kyack (top drawing) which I thought for some reason were the shadows of two people and didn't quite "get" before. Now I do!
Paintings and drawings are all delightful! So well done! Bravo!
I love your drawings and the story, Mim! They are truly wonderful!
xoxoxo
I can't wait for the next installment.
You have Talent Girl!!! :)) This is going to be a great book. Look forward to more.
These are just too cute, Mim. Make up a good story to go with them. This would make such a great children's book.
Mim...I was smitten with the *WLG*s* from your very first sketch..their world - above and beneath the water is so enchanting..... between your Ms. Em series and this one....yo are really *on* to something rare and wonderful!!!!!
I love the finished Kayak drawing too....
Love,
♥ Robin ♥
I can't wait to get this book too for my grands. LOVE that first one with just her feet showing. It is an absolute joy and pleasure to see these creations Mim. Maybe you slept too much last week haha.
I never sleep well when my husband is gone either. Seems like lack of sleep is good for you, gets your muse in a happy place. I love your water lilly people - can't wait to see what story comes with the pics.
I so love your drawings. Its fir for the kids. They'll definitely like it and wish to draw one too.
