Illustration Friday - Fail

Rather a dark subject for IF, perhaps in homage to IFN's demise.

I "failed" to listen to all of the action items that I was getting from the conference call, because I was doodling during the whole meeting.

conference calls, new computers and scanners, falling off bikes... maybe it would be nice to live in a simple world where we had to take a canoe and send smoke signals to let everyone know when the pow-wow was... can understand your doodling... a creative mind is often stifled by the mundane and everyday... only found my way here through some mutual friends... like your site... catch ya on the flip side... cricket...

ah yes, the simple life. I just escaped for a 45 minute walk in a country setting. Very calming.

You do amazing doodles, Mim. I've been pondering this one for a while now...

Thanks Casey, I've been pondering it also, the telephone, and the sort of figurehead with the trailing hands. what was going on up there?

Oh my, so that's why I am failing to hear all the instructions :)

Wow...Mim!
your illustration of this failure is a real success!
I love the symbolism and the way things merging together surrealistically...
How beautifully you've depicted the waves....and their entanglement...

Thanks also for your nice words on my blog...I've also written there for you.
Hugs

Failure does not mean the end. In fact, it could be just the beginning.

I like that. I can't face the 'Fail' topic yet.

I love love love spontaneous doodles! This one is terrific. Shows the boredom of conference calls, but there's also a lot more stuff going on here! Great stuff Mim.

not dark at all, rather fun is what i think, it has a light airy look and feel to it.

sometimes doodles are so lovely and amazing - I just want to color this one in with juicy markers!

I have been to many meetings where doodling was my salvation. I like your illustration - it shows a mind at work!

Interesting how darkness always get the best out of people...

This is especially good.
