Illustration Friday - Forgotten

I think this is an interesting topic, and might post a few entries.
We have had wonderful spring weather here in the Northeast, which is unusual for us. We often find ourselves with 1 week of spring before plunging into the heat of summer. When that happens I find myself longing for the cool fall nights, with great sleeping weather.

So, for "Forgotten" ...

"In spring, we easily forget the beautiful leaves of the fall, just as in autumn, we forget the rebirth and beauty of the spring."

beautiful post Mim! I remember those short, almost non-existent Springs. I still miss the change of seasone though.

Not sure what to do for this subject yet.

Beautiful. I agree that it is easy to forget, so thanks for helping us to remember.

Also, thanks for the comment on my blog. You reminded me that even though it will be hard work, that it will be worth it. That is what I know, and I am so excited about that. Really... KC

hi mim, since i'm from new england, i too am quite familiar with fall, and you've done it proud! btw, i wasn't at woodstock (i was an american living in germany) but i remember it totally. around here many of my friends go to the falconridge festival in july and talk about it in the same way.

It's so true! In the heat of summer, we forget how cold and rough the winter was and vice versa! I love this illustration. (I know exactly what you mean by having NO springs! It feels like we jump from winter straight into summer where I live...this year has been nicer, though.)
