I should have more faith in myself....

Remember this quilt? I was convinced that I was the only one who liked it. Well..I brought it into work today along with a few others for a group of us to pick out which one we wanted to give to the latest new baby. EVERYONE picked this one - they just loved the colors and how different it was. I must admit - I was totally surprised! Someone asked if I could make it large sized - well...we'll see about that.

Off to Florida tomorrow and am having the usual leaving home blues. What to take? What to leave home. Pack and repack. Less clothes, more art supplies. I truly hate the process, and would simply stay in place if I could.

But Mom and I have planned a day out together - just the two of us - and that will be a treat. Usually we are with brothers and cousins, aunts and uncles. I want a day with mom that I can remember and treasure.

Have a good weekend everyone -

I already told you this was a wonderful and unique quilt! And I should know!!!! LOL ;-)
It IS. It's bold and beautiful and the baby will love all the lines and dots and such.

Have a wonderful day with mom.
Great plan!!!
Is this a fun trip as opposed to a work trip?

Enjoy!!! Yes, lots of art supplies. Bring us what you create while gone.

I loved this quilt the moment I saw it too :)

Savor your day with your mom. How lucky to have that.

Enjoy the warm breezes of Fla, embrace the cool air when you get home :)

P.S. If you don't want to pack many art supplies, remember the handy old brown paper bags!

I've always loved that quilt too. Have a nice weekend, enjoy what you can, hide when you can't.

It is a lovely quilt. Isnt it nice when people give you kudos when you are thinking negative about something..? We have to believe in ourselves more. :))
Have a great weekend with family.

It's a beautiful quilt! I'm sure the not pink and blue is part of the reason people love it. Enjoy your time here in Florida! It's a bit cool, but you may not even notice.

funny how lack of confidence can steer you wrong...the quilt is indeed beautiful.

i don;t like to pack and travel either, although i do it anyway. hope you and your mother had a grand day of it.

:)

We can never seem to judge our own work! That said, it's hard to believe that you couldn't see what a great quilt this is!
I hope you're having a great time with your Mom in Florida. I also hate packing for trips, but by the time I get to the airport I'm happy to be leaving.
