Sunday

Another giveaway - must be the season! Lovely journals.

I am wide awake and also exhausted. One of the triggers that we discovered for my fainting spells is the drug I take for RLS (Restless Legs Syndrome - may you never experience it). The drug, called Requip, works well for the RLS in my case but has a high side effect of syncopy (fainting). So bye, bye, drug and while I am not cutting it out cold turkey I am cutting back on the dosage. Hence twitchy legs all night....so why not take advantage of being awake and get and two little lovely quilts finished. (Pictures later)

It's a cold day, but the outdoors are calling and a short bike ride is in the works. Along with me comes the sketchpad and a book on tape in case I feel like cutting the trip short. Am I a spoiled princess or what?????

I am happy to hear you found the cause of the fainting but now you are back with the old problem. Seems you can't win.
Yay, take is easy.

I hope there is a drug to substitute for the leg problem. Oy. But good to find out what caused the fainting. Not for the faint of heart these scary issues. (oh,yes, pun intended. ;-0

Your day plans sound delightful. Enjoy!

Looking forward to seeing those quilts.

I was going to suggest creaming or oiling yr legs before bed, though I dont have this issue I believe I heard someone mention doing that. Do the feet too. I actually oil my feet, legs and head to help w/ insomnia. (not sure if that's what the person whose name I cant seer right now meant when she said "natural oil for my legs." ) Glad in any event that you have discovered the fainting cause.

Glad to know it was not something more serious. I will have to dig out the RLS info I have from a CE (continuing education)I went to. The doctor was great and I do remember him saying there is a link to low iron levels and RLS and patients should have that blood work done...(not sure if they were actually anemic yet or not) I am sure you have done lots of research yourself but that was a new one to me.

I didn't even know what RLS was till they started with the commercials-turns out I have a bit of it-but it just wakes me a bit, not all night long. Interesting about the iron link-my iron is usually low.....hmmmmm.

I'm so glad it's not a physical ailment. Hopefully you will fine something to replace the offending drug! Stay well!
