He/she looks like a monk with a super/person cape!
Choices. I love choices.
I had the most amazing conversation with my first husband at our son's wedding this weekend. He talked philosphally about life and the choices we'd made...and I said: "You know, if I had not gone to Israel at 19, seen you in the kitchen of that Kibbutz and said: "Are you a Sabra born in this Kibbutz?" none of these people (all the parents meeting each other, including the bride and groom) would be here today!
I love these simple line drawings with touches of red a la E gorey. I hadnt noticed that he she was looking back till I read HB's comment. I suppose we can always look back and wonder, if I had taken that other path where would I be today? Love Lynn's story about the first husband. Hmm, did she show him in the photos??

There's always another path to follow. I think too many choices muddy our minds sometimes.
I'm waiting for the day I get it right :)
oh very thought-provoking...
first i thought s/he is going forward on that path but noticed s/he is leaving and has turned back to take a look...
ha?
very beautiful...
follow the floating red balloon?
Or are they marking paths already taken?
