Love's abyss

We've had alot of rain around here. Sitting in the car, waiting for the rain to stop. Helps to have a rapidograph and some watercolor pencils.

Almost too much symbolism to bear, it reminds me of a political cartoon in some way.

i really like the sketchy style of it and the reduced color.

btw: the art director of the link magazine sent of 3 copies of the magazine yesterday to you. in case the magazine is interesting, you can keep one of the copies. :)

Goodness, that is different!
I like it very much, all the detail.

K - I'll keep an eye out for the magazines and will send them out to you as soon as possible. E - yes, it is a bit different - I tried to use less color, am going to try to limit color to what is effective rather than using my entire available inventory of colored pencils! We'll see how it goes - I'm a sucker for color.

thanks mim.

i always try to add more color to my work. usually i only like my black and white work, because i never know how to use the color properly in my colored pics.

I thought this was representative of a uterus at first glance.

I asked my best friend and he thought so as well.

Anyway, I like it.

Slip - everytime I look at it I think "woman" - perhaps subliminal - I'd have to ask Mr. P.

A lovely drawing and concept. I wish I could read the words you wrote on the right side. Yes, a uterus, coming from the subconscious.

interesting picture. like this style but think the writing detracts from it

Suki and Ellis - thanks for your comments. The notes on the side are just my notes about when and what and who. Yes, they do detract - good point.
Isn't it interesting how the mind works?

Vaginal Politics? That really was a book title, wasn't it?
