Home!!

We just got home tonight and I have so much to catch up on! I've missed you all! I will be visiting soon and posting some things done in Fla (very little!) but just found out that I left my picture of alligators down there (boo hoo) but...since I am going down again next weekend for Dad's 95th birthday.....I guess I'll get it then.

We left Sarasota and it was 72 degrees sunny and a light breeze. We got home and it was 24 degrees, dark, and blowing like smoke. Tell me again why I live up here?????

Welcome home. I don't care where we go or how awesome it is, there's something about sleeping in your own bed that brings such comfort.

Unless your husband snores. I hope your husband doesn't snore. Cuz that sucks.

HOme sweet home...I was complaining of cold before we went to MN. Now I think it's shirtsleeve weather here! Funny.

95, wow. That's a milestone if I ever heard one. I hope his health is good. May he enjoy every minute of his sweet life! Happy Birthday Mim's dad!!!

Looking forward to alligators...

welcome back!
i wonder whether it's fun or a kind of torture to switch so abruptly from a high temperature to a low one?

happy birthday to your dad!

weather report from Maine:
coold and blowing.

I'm sitting on my feet at the moment hoping someone else will put some wood in the stove...

And birthday blessing to your dear ol' dad.

Living here in the midwest we get those crazy temperature swings during winter. Frozen one day and wet, warm and mushy the next. UGh.

Good to hear you get an opportunity to celebrate with your Dad.

We have a family friend that is 98. My 88 yr old Step-dad picks him up at least once per week and they eat out together. It is a great life if you don't weaken.
