Pocket Quilt

I made this little stroller quilt with a little pocket for a stuffed animal (or a bottle, or toys or whatever). Now I'm going to find a way to attach the toy to the quilt without using rough velcro or putting a fabric leash around the bears neck.
Any ideas?

when do you find the time to do all these wonderfully creative bits? you really do need grandchildren!

Yes, I do...sadly - no hope there! But I do have a great-niece and I want to shower her with all this stuff! Sewing is turning out to be a terrific release for me, I didn't realize it until I hadn't done it for awhile and then did a few pieces. Relief!

Does it need to be attached? It might be frustrating to the child; and half the fun of travel-toys is that of hurling them out and making others stoop and scrabble about in the dirt.

elizt - good point, I guess I was thinking more about the parent than the kid! - perhaps attach with a bungee cord to make it fun and useful

As long as it gets past Health and Safety with regard to tangling. If thinking about the minder, just handcuff Teddy and sew him in as tightly as possible!

Hey, his quilt is my fav. of yours so far. Actually I have ssen something similar with a bear in a book made of cloth. The bear was attached with a long cord to the book. So it didn´t get lost, but the kid could still play with it.
