Illustration Friday - December 28th - Soar

I am in Florida at my folks house, and only found paper and pencil around to do anything for this topic - it's a good challenge. Great colors can be found in magazine pages. I only had one of those giant scissors so details were out of the question, but I had fun doing this and isn't that what it's all about?
I've always wanted to Soar thru outer space - would love to be in zero gravity.

if you want to experience something similar to zero gravity, then you should try a floating tank.
i haven´t found a good american website, but this one is okay: http://www.thefloattank.com/whatis.html.
i gave benjamin a coupon for this on hanukkah. can´t wait to see how it is.
additionally to the floating your body reaxes completely, as the water has the same temperature as your skin. so your body and brain don´t need any energy to adjust the outside to the inside temperature. it is supposed to be like in your mothers womb.
boy, this comment made me very curious now. ;)

As my friend says, about things which are supposed to make you feel as though you are back in the womb 'Isn't the whole point of being born that you have to do without it?'
Swimming is very nice.
Love the illustration.

Mim, love it, but everytime I log on I think that air hose is something else first.

I'm actually putting together old christmas cards and magazine photos to bring down to Florida to play with the girls. Auntie Deb arrives with funny gifts sometimes...here children, have a box of old cards....LOL.

Deb - I know what you mean about the air hose! I tried to cut it thinner, but the big scissors wouldn't do it.
Thanks all for your commentsm I might try this excercise more with found materials, or limited ones anyway.

I thought it was sewn. You drew stitches around the person. Clever you!
Love the concept of soaring too.
