My 40 (or more) year old Kenmore sewing machine is giving me shocks (literally - it tingles when I touch the bobbin cover)! I can probably get it fixed, but am really ready for a new one. I'm looking to buy one under $300.00 if possible and would love anyone's recommendations!!!

hey you, get a new one, you use it often so why not? treat yourself, you'd spend this money on others in your family, why not on yourself?
