100 things and a question

When I was coughing fit to break last week I did work on alot of the 100 things. It was something to do while at my folks, it was very relaxing, and while I sat at the table drawing, Dad talked alot, sort of like he was thinking out loud. I took advantage of it. Many of the 100 things are active projects so I picked most of the quieter projects and did them sitting at the outside table, out of the sun but in a light area, and drew, coughed and listened.

My mom went hysterical laughing over the flying saucer oreo cookie, and I went hysterical over the egg that looks more like a haystack. The "almond" also started out as an egg - but turned into an almond pretty quickly. Eggs are hard to draw. What the hell color are they? The tomato-y thing is supposed to be an orange which I didn't buy but PICKED in the back yard.

I did offer to do the grocery shopping and while my actual list did not include all of these items, I liked drawing them so made allowances.

Please check out Casey's blog - she's joining the project with her wonderful style. We hope Ms. K will still play as she is about to be a published artiste.

So the question is this (and it has nothing to do with a grocery list) . Does your significant other/husband/wife/lover/whatever, know that you have a blog and do they ever read it? or leave comments? Kerstin you can't answer cause we know B is very blog-supportive.

Well, i forced him to comment. :) Actually I only started reading blogs and starting my own one, as my husband spent all his spare time writing for his blog. :)

My hubbie does know I have a blog and he couldn't care less about it. At first, he read it but then grew tired of my rambling. So now he checks the blog I have for our daughter from time to time but that's about it.

I love the eggplant-I love eggplants period, love the color, the taste, what a wonderful veggie.

Family knows about my blog and could care less. It makes my laugh when Mom says "you are so secretive, you never tell anybody anything."

love the eggplant drawing, but hate the taste of them (sorry debs)
my husband reads mine now and then, refuses to comment. we talk less and less now that i'm blogging because a) we both want to use the computer at the same time to do our own thing and b) i think he learns all he needs to know about me from my blog, so doesn't have to talk to me!!! nothing new!!!

My hubby knows I have a blog, but if he reads it he never tells me, and never comments. Mom knows I have one, and will only read it if I point something specific out to her. Other family...don't really have time - but I am hopeful for one cousin getting onto the band wagon.

Wonderful job on the illustrated grocery list - hmm, does that mean I actually have to write a grocery list? I'm one of those disorganized shoppers who wanders around aimlessly, and plans meals from what has serendipitously ended up in my fridge. I especially like the eggplant - it's green top is subtly colored. My husband nows I have a blog, and he looks/comments from time to time.

So I am the only one with a grocery list?
I have to admit that doesn´t help either. I wander about the store aimlessly too and I even forget part of the stuff on the list. Always!!!

Great idea to draw your grocery list,or any list!

Yes, Rob knows about my Blogs and is actually my 'editor' as he calls himself. He checks for spelling and helps me with the Banner photos. But I do all the writing and take almost all the photos. He reads every comment I get, too. He loves my Blogs!
