Illustration Friday - January 18th - PLAIN

I immediately thought of the Plains, those inland oceans. Purple waves of grain and all that.

The picture doesn't do justice to those wide wonderful vista's but it was fun to draw.

I saw frosted plains today on our road trip-golden fields with a light white frost. It was really pretty as long as you didn't have to walk across it barefoot like the cows did. One cow was mooing and steam was coming out of her mouth. That is almost as funny as when it happens from the other end.

This was my first thought also. Great job on this.

And thanks for the support for my friend. It's so encouraging to know others made it through this.

I have seen some [smaller] Plains recently, very hot and dry; I was mostly interested in the dairy cows and how they were coping.

OOh yes - big wide open spaces - nice movement in this Mim, and I'm glad to hear you're feeling a little better.
