I'm still around....

I'm still in Florida at Mom's house, cleaning, helping etc. But in order to get on the internet here, with my computer (cause her's is 8 years old and cranky) I have to turn off her computer...unplug the ethernet cable, then the modem power, then unscrew the co-ax cable, then redo everything to hook up to my computer and get internet access. And usually once I have done that someone comes in and says "I need to check my email for an important message" - arghhhh!!!!

I am going home on Saturday and am looking forward to being in my own house again...

What we do to get on the internet hey? Priorities!

Thanks for letting us know who things are going. Never an easy time.

Other than being frustrated, glad to know you're okay! I can feel your pain now that I'm completely obsessed with this damn machine :P

Something's waiting for you at home ;)

Yes it will be nice for you to get back to your own home and your own internet. But it is good to leave things behind well managed.
I have spend the day tearing wallpaper off in my mothers new home. I organized and bought everything today and I am happy all went so smooth. My mother will be moving the 16th.
How is your Mom?
And how are you?
It is hard for both of you......
Today I was in my parents home and I was caught by grief again. Seeing my Dad´s picture there.
They had only enjoyed their new appartment for 5 months....
Busy times ahead for us but glad my Mom has found a place to live again......
I wish you strenght! And your Mom as well.
Big hug from Marianne

What a difficult time! It's good that you were able to spend time with your mother, and help get some of many things taken care of. Have a safe trip home and enjoy s good nights sleep in your own bed!

That would be very frustrating. I hope you and your mom are doing well, all considered. Safe travel when you return tomorrow. Blessings and prayers to you.

I just read about your loss Mim. I am so sorry to hear this. It seems like just no time ago you were celebrating your Dad's birthday. I am glad you had happier times with him toward the end of his life.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. ((hugs))
