Tuesday - I got down to Sarasota last night - dad barely knew I was there. Looked like he was not long for this world. Brother came. Husband arrived. Sister coming tonight.
Got an early morning phone call today - woke up with my heart in my throat - thinking the worst.
It was Dad on the phone, demanding to know where everyone was and when could he have his orange juice.
What the h...?????

Thoughts and prayers are with your dad and your family, look forward to hearing from you. Your weekend getaway, was different from mine...looked like a wonderful quaint place! Really lovely. The illustrations and doodles from the past few days were great, loved the ones with the hearts.

lol.... isn´t it great that he has you on his mind when he calls someone and needs something. that may be difficult and hard at times but you ARE on his mind. :)
I'm so glad he rallied. Even though we all know it's coming, and we ARE adults too, losing a parent is not ever ever easy. When Daddy was so sick last year I just had the most awful panic feelings.
Now that cracks me up!
