The overlarge, loosely knitted sweater went from this:
...to this. Happily I unraveled and rewound and learned that sometimes overly loose knitting really makes for an unhappy sweater.
So a smaller size will be knit - tighter knitting - and hopefully it will fit in the end. Either way...I'm having fun doing and redoing.

LOL
I can't believe you undid the entire sweater and are starting over! You have a lot of patience, I don't.
I love the collage you did in the previous post. Again, you are quite the perfectionist. It pays off, apparently. Looks great.
wow. LOTS of patience for sure. I would have been soooooo frustrated I might have tossed it in the trash. lol
Good luck Mim. Just remember that even experts have to do this sometimes. My MIL is an expert knitter and she will see an err somplace that I can't see when she points it out and she will tear the thing apart and start again. It always turns out right the next time.
I'm still impressed that you knit and draw and write and travel and do science stuff!!
:-)
and bike and hike and kayak and take photographs for pete's sake!
:)
Endless energy?or ADD? not sure which
I do envy you your energy and I very much (now in my mature years) believe in reapproaching tasks that do not turn out the first time. I have reapproached up to three or four times and almost always succeed eventually. People claim this is patience but to me it is simply being real. How can I expect myself to get things "perfect" the first time or...for me...anytime. It will be good enough not perfect.
oh wow this is gonna be smashingly gorgeous miss pinkie.i like my watercolours too, but use the box not the tubes....although i am a vibrant colour user, the subtlety of wc is so lovely too. an award for you on my blog. hugs.
